How much do tickets cost?
Tickets are $26 for adults (plus applicable fees), $11 for children ages 6-12 (plus applicable fees), and children under 6 are free.

What are the handicap accommodations?
We offer handicap parking on-site for free with proof of your Handicap ID. You will need the number of your handicapped plate or hangtag to complete the purchase. Click here to purchase a handicap permit ticket. Each additional passenger in a handicapped permit vehicle needs to purchase a drop off/passenger ticket. Click here to purchase a drop off/passenger ticket. We will also have handicap accessibility on our shuttles.
The walking route around the display is ¾ of a mile (.75 mile). The paving surface is a combination of gravel garden paths and macadam roadway. Have questions? We want to help! Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Is there on-site parking?
There is very limited parking on-site so we encourage you to use a ride-share option like UBER or Lyft or purchase a ticket that includes our $3 shuttle service. Those shuttle sites are located in North Charleston off Leeds Ave and at Drayton Hall Elementary School. If you wish to park on-site, we do offer a few $50 parking passes. All guests in the vehicle will need to buy
general admission tickets separately. For private vehicles, the driver needs to purchase a ticket with on-site parking included. Click here to purchase a ticket with on-site parking included. Where is the off-site parking?
Off-site parking and shuttles are located in North Charleston off Leeds Ave and at Drayton Hall Elementary School.There will be two locations, one in North Charleston and one in West Ashley. When you purchase your ticket you will select your parking location.
May I take an Uber, Lyft, or Taxi to the event?
Yes. You may purchase drop off tickets. You may enter any time during the event hours. Click here to purchase drop off tickets.
What are the event times?
The gardens are open from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
If you are using our shuttle service, you will select a shuttle time when you purchase your ticket. Shuttles run from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the North Charleston site and from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the West Ashley location. Please give yourself 20 minutes to park and get your ticket scanned before getting on the shuttle.
Are you open on Christmas and New Years?
How often do shuttles run from Magnolia Plantation back to the parking lots?
The gardens are open from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. You can return to the parking lot on any shuttle bus: 6:30 pm, 7:00 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:00 pm, 8:30 pm, 9:00 pm, or 9:30 pm.
Are pets allowed?
For the safety of all guests, pets are not allowed.
Are service animals allowed?
Is Magnolia Plantation and Gardens still open during the day?
Yes. We will close at 4:30 each night in preparation for the festival.

Do you offer food for purchase on-site?
Yes. There will be nightly rotating food trucks.
I cannot attend at my appointed time. May I exchange my ticket?
You can sell or transfer your ticket to another individual or change your ticket date. If you would like to change your ticket date you must contact Bold Type Tickets at email@example.com or call (888) 377-4510 at least 48 hours before your scheduled event ticket.
It rained the night of my appointed ticket. May I re-schedule or receive a refund?
If we cancel the show due to inclement weather we will offer a date exchange. If it rained and we did not cancel the event we will not be offering a date exchange. Please see our inclement weather policy here. In the event that the show is canceled on the night for which you hold tickets, you may request a new date by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling (888) 377-4510. May we bring our own food to the event?
No, we will have food trucks on-site nightly for concessions.
What items are prohibited on-site?
- Lawn chairs and folding chairs
- Glass bottles
- Hard-sided or Styrofoam coolers or thermoses
- Knives, weapons or chains
- Fireworks and explosives
- Firearms and ammunition
- Chemical weapons, including mace and pepper spray
- Marijuana and other illegal substances
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (drones)
All management decisions as to violations are final. Guests removed from the premises will not be granted refunds.
Is smoking allowed on-site?
Smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking area
How long can I stay after my entry time?
Until 9:30 pm when the event closes.
Please Note: People who are found on the property between the hours of between 4:30 and 5:30 are subject to eviction and/or arrest. Cars left in the parking areas may be towed.
No one will be allowed in the pavilion staging area without a ‘Lights of Magnolia’ wrist bands.
